Dimensional god theory

There is a way too believe in god without believing in punishment for your actions. I think it is possible that god is a force outside of our dimension who is only a creator and does not govern. Punishment and karma is a flawed system, for our consciousness (or soul) does not decide how our brain is structured. God might not even be directly centered on life. The perplexing thing about life though is that it is aware of it's surroundings and this is part of what we call a consciousness. Consciousness might actually mold reality. .
